Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Available for adoption soon!
Meet Odin, a 6 month old Labrador Retriever mix pup that may possibly mixed with Dane due to his long lengthy legs and clumsy personality.....
Odin came to us as an owner surrender at no fault of his own...the previous owner could not provide the needs for a young pup. We have only had Odin only a little over a week (Feb 9th) but he is an amazing boy that will make someone a great pet and an addition into their family.
Odin will need an active family and one that will not work long hours during the day and able to provide him alot of daily exercise and mental enrichment. Odin is entering into the adolescence stage of his life so he would greatly benefit from obedience training, not only to create a bond with his owner but for socialization and to learn with distractions! He is crate/house trained and is wonderful in his crate while he enjoys his frozen peanut butter Kongs! Odin is learning some basic manners while in our care, including to learn how to sit, down, stay, wait, leave it, drop it, and walking nicely on a leash. He rides nice in the car and enjoys trips to the park! Odin is very smart, food motivated and catches on fast! He ignores cats, is good with other dogs, and older children over 10 years old would be best.
Odin was just neutered (on actitivity restrictions until Feb 24th), is up to date on vaccines (Rabies, Distempter, Lepto, Bordetella, Canine Influenze), negative fecal, microchipped, and is on monthly preventative for heartworm & flea/tick. All vet services (including exam, vaccines, and surgery) were performed by a licensed veternarian.
Odin would love a fenced in yard, and possibly a canine buddy to play with but necessarily not a requirement for adoption.
