My story

Hi guys!

My name is Blair, glad to see you visited my page.

When I was younger, someone dumped me on the side of the road. A very nice older lady took me in and fostered me until the kind hearted Lucie's folks could fit me in.

Ready to go?? I am full energy and ready to run and play!!! I just love kids because they tend run and play like me! Oh yeah, I'm treat motivated :) :) :)

I love playing with toys but haven't quite mastered the whole retrieving thing ;)

I would be an awesome family dog or one for an active adult who enjoys running or hiking.

At the moment, I am enjoying rough play with my kennelmates, so if you have another dog who enjoys that as well, that would be really swell. I'm ok by myself too.

I am leash and crate trained.

Hope to see you soon!

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters contact our adoption volunteer either via email or phone. Our volunteer in turn talks to them more about the pet they are interested in. If the adopter seems like a good match, they are requested to complete an application. They come to the rescue location to meet the dog of interest. We also sometimes arrange a home visit to make sure the environment is suitable for the dog. If all is well, they will get a call from a volunteer letting them know they are approved for adoption. They will be provided copies of the vaccination and sterilization records. A delivery day will be arranged for the dog. Either the adopter may come and pick up the dog, or a volunteer can arrange to have the dog delivered. They sign our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. We do periodically contact our adopters to check up on the dog to make sure everyone is happy and healthy and enjoying their new life!

More about this rescue

Local Unity for Canines In Emergency Situations. We are a dog rescue organization, not a shelter or a pound! We are a group of neighbors who, as a community effort, are helping the many strays and dumped dogs in the area. We take them in, care for them, feed - vaccinate - worm - socialize, and try to find them forever homes. We do depend on donations to help out, and will accept food, medication, bedding, fostering, and direct donations to Veterinarians.
