My story

Fay is a little shy with strangers, but certainly worth the time it takes to get to know her.  She likes snuggling on a soft blanket up on a cat condo where she can watch everyone coming and going. She especially likes treat time and loves wet food. She enjoys playing with toys that have feathers. She is good with other cats and would do best in a quieter home with older children.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year. ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
