My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chi-Chi – is as loving as she is beautiful with her rich black coat and deep golden eyes. She especially enjoys spending time on the screened in area where she can watch everything going on and be ready to join in the fun whenever the other kitties are playing, or when volunteers visit and start swinging toys on a string! She also enjoys snuggling in volunteer’s laps for gentle petting. Chi-Chi is a happy kitty just waiting for someone to take her home and love her forever!

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
