Leo is around three years old. He is an altered male, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Leo is a very well behaved boy in the house and outside off leash. Leo is crate trained, potty trained and e-collar trained. He has an outstanding off leash re-call. He does great with all other dogs as well as cats! Leo and my cat have become good friends, although he will sneak in the cat box and try to "help me clean it". Leo loves attention! He would love to live on your lap if you let him, but is also respectful when you ask him for space. Leo has been introduced to my chickens on and off leash. He does have drive and instinct to move them, so he should not be trusted around livestock unattended. He does need to learn boundaries while under supervision as well. He chased one bird and when I called him off he listened well. We took Leo to a trainer who teaches humans and dogs how to herd. He did say Leo had natural instincts but thinks he would do a lot better in agility. You can take him either way, or have him as a pet as long as he gets mental and physical stimulation.
Leo's one downfall is he is unsure of strangers. He needs an owner who doesn't mind putting him in his kennel while guests are over or someone who isn't a social butterfly like Leo. He doesn't like people invading his space but does give people that information by growling when uncomfortable. I've had 15 people over for a birthday party and he wore a basket muzzle to keep everyone including himself safe and he did fine. He really just ignores people and played with the other dogs. He just wants to be left alone by strangers and he needs an owner who can understand and respect that. Leo does also need some leash work as he does pull. Overall he is an amazing dog. He just needs the right home with an experienced owner who can read Leo and understand sometimes he needs his own space (His Kennel). Leo will come with a couple collars, his e-collar, crate, harness, leash and his frisbee, which he LOVES!

There will be a serious of questions as well as an appropriate re-homing fee to ensure Leo is placed in the best home possible.
