My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chloe| 2 years old | 62lbs | LOOKING FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT

Dogs - prefers to be the only dog
Cats ✔️
Young Children -unsure
Older Children ✔️

We are so excited to introduce you to Chloe! She is gorgeous, sweet and loving, a puppy full of pep and personality. She’s looking for an active family, who like to get outside and play!

Chloe is extremely smart and very well trained; she knows all the basic commands, and many beyond that as well. She went through training to be a service dog and learned so much! She is super attentive to her human and their needs, crate trained, house trained and great on a leash. Even though she learned a ton, her fear prevented her from getting her cap and gown. Chloe has some trust issues at first meeting new people which can cause her to be a bit skittish.

Chloe loves to be outside, go for hikes, and is hoping for an active family who enjoy the great outdoors. She is also hoping to have a yard so she can spend time running around and playing. Although she gets along well with dogs of all shapes and sizes, Chloe’s fear does sometimes play into her interactions with other dogs in her space. For this reason, we feel she would do best as an only dog. She does alright with dog-savvy cats.

Chloe’s ideal home will have the right balance of compassion and structure, kindness and activity. Are you willing to give her the space (physically and in time) to gain her confidence, and hold her paw as she learns to navigate this thing called life? If so, you will be rewarded with her adoring looks, attention, a fun playmate and an overall snuggler. She is not only sweet, loving, kind and beautiful, but perfectly trained and smart as a whip! This dog will change your outlook on life, with her silly and playful temperament, and her very high level of obedience, she’s a class act all the way. It’s hard to resist those big intelligent amber eyes of hers. They say that eyes are the window to the soul, and you can clearly see what a beautiful soul Chloe has!

How does Foster-To-Adopt work?
Are you looking to see how a dog fits into your life? Foster-To-Adopt is a great way to find out what having a dog entails. You have two-weeks to decide if Chloe is the right dog for you and your family.

Should you choose not to move forward with adoption, we simply ask that you continue to provide a safe and loving home until their new forever family can be found. Either way, you will have played an important role in Chloe's happily ever after.

During your foster-to-adopt trial, you will receive the support of a Canine Haven mentor to help you through the transition and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Foster-to-adopt families will be required to pay a $100 deposit and sign our foster-to-adopt waiver in advance. If you choose to adopt, this will be applied to your adoption fee. If you choose not to adopt, your $100 will be refunded provided you see your pup through to adoption.
