Meet Sam, also known as Sampson on formal occasions! He is one handsome standard boy! ATDR was so happy to take him into rescue. His foster mom says he warmed up to all the people in his foster home almost immediately! She also says that Sam’s a high energy, active boy who requires constructive ways to burn off that energy. He’s also a sweet and happy boy who enjoys chasing a ball or chewing on a toy! (See videos below.) Sam is going to require an adopter who is committed to regular exercise and play time. He’s an enthusiastic walking partner and would probably make a heckuva wiener dog racer! Sam needs a home without young children.

His foster mom believes Sam is a total “guy's dog” and is looking for a true bro-mance. He’d love to connect to an active guy he can hop in the truck with, go on adventures with, help work on DIY projects with and more. While Sam loves the ladies too, they just don't seem to exist to Sam when there’s a man around.
