My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cats-the most effective, affordable and environmentally friendly pest control method!

The barn cat, also known as a feral cat, is a domestic cat, usually of mixed breed, that lives primarily out-of-doors, in a feral or semi-feral condition on agricultural properties, usually sheltering in outbuildings.

Individuals interested in adopting barn cats must be able to provide the cats with shelter, food, water, and vet care. Barns, outbuildings, factories, and warehouses are all considered suitable shelters for the cats.
All barn cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated against rabies, and ear-tipped.

If you are interested in adopting a barn cat please fill out the adoption questionnaire and a member of the adoption center team will contact you!

Adoption Fees & Process
See current fees at www.yakimahumane.org
The adoption fees help offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals that need our help. We do our best to keep adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. Adoption fees help provide medical care, food and shelter to the animals in our care.
