Luna's owners had to move to a motel when they ran out of rent money, so they left her outside the rental home and traveled there to feed her when they could. Poor Luna developed a bad case of ear mites and scratched a terrible wound on her ear. A rescuer took her to the vet for surgery and Cat Rescue agreed to accept the cat, as her owners only wanted what was best for her. After a month wearing the "cone of shame," Luna's ear healed nicely and her ear mite problem treated and resolved. She's so happy and grateful to be well and rested indoors where she is safe! She purrs continuously and is sleeping hard after the winter months outside, alone and injured. She is very sweet, loving and neat; she would be a calm, quiet companion for an adult on their own. Her ear still needs to grow back its fur, but she is ready for a loving forever home with a nap-loving friend. She is now located in the Greenbrier Petsmart pet center, so please go visit her today!
