Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

A completed application is required to meet the animal(s) you are interested in and to begin the adoption process. The application must include a veterinarian reference showing a history of good pet ownership and you must live within 100 miles of Independence, MO. At times, multiple applications will be a part of the decision making process when selecting the perfect home. An email confirming our receipt of your application will be sent to you. It will take 5 days for us to review your application and contact your references. If you do not hear from us within 5 days, we are pursuing other applications. For more information, please visit our website, www.animalsbestfriends.org, and click on the Adoption tab.

Go meet their pets

WE DO NOT HAVE A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN VIEW THE ANIMALS.
Please go to www.animalsbestfriends.org to fill out an application. If your application is selected as a good match for the animal applied for, then a home visit will be scheduled so you can meet the animal. If there is more than one that you are interested in, just let us know and we can make arrangements to bring several to your home visit.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit organization, licensed in the state of Missouri. We rescue animals from local shelters and off the street, while some come from owners who can no longer keep them. Our animals are cared for at our facility or in foster homes while we help them find their forever family. If you are interested in adopting or fostering any of our animals, or to learn more about our group, please go to www.animalsbestfriends.org
