Willow is a 6-month old beautiful, playful and unusually loving Lab-mix puppy. We suspect there’s some Weimaraner in the mix as well.
The thing about Willow that strikes everybody who picks her up is that she melts in your arms. No, really. No matter what she’s doing—playing, eating, running around—pick her up and she instantly stops all activity and conforms herself to your shape so as to better soak up the lovings. She loves to be held and petted and told what a pretty girl she is.
Willow lives in a house with 10 cats and 5 other dogs, and she gets along with EVERYBODY. She’s such an eager-to-please, girl who is easily made happy. She’s very submissive, so she won’t have any problems with other dogs.
Of course she likes to do all the puppy things: wrassle with her foster brothers and sisters, play with squeaky toys, run around the yard. She is a very well-mannered pup. She is almost completely house-trained. She is not a barky dog. She is non-destructive. And she is crate-trained. Whether you want her in the bed or on the floor, she will sleep wherever you put her. Just pick her up and POOF! Melty puppy!
Willow would make a fantastic family dog. Not only is the breed good with kids, but this particular dog is very submissive and not at all obnoxious, so she would be gentle around children. Her adoption fee is $225 and includes spay, all shots & microchip.
Note About Coronavirus: Even though pet stores are not holding adoption events as I write this (3/21/20), we are still adopting out dogs. We will agree on a location and show up with bandanas covering our noses and mouths and our hands covered in Purell.
