Milo now Remi was from the Napa shelter found as a stay then adopted by a family. This family also had 3 little dogs, health concerns, and lacked the ability to train him. Remi was given love, spoiled too much by one human while the other parent engaged in rough play.
As a puppy. this left him confused. It left him mouthy as an older puppy. He has spent time unlearning his first 8 months of conditioned behavior.
He's energetic, smart, has a great nose. He will need an active yet calm human who will exercise him as well as provide him with mental stimulation. hide and seek, etc. He will do best with a handler that is calm and provides leadership by teaching the correct behaviors.
He rides great in the car, walking better on leash now being able to focus on his handler. He enjoys hikes and learning new things. He can be indifferent with other dogs but doesn't like rude dogs
( dogs that bark at him ) He thrives on doing tasks and training crate and kennel trained.
With a confident handler he can mingle in a pack walk with multiple dogs without issue. NO DOG PARKS , he needs a human that will continue to socialize him to new things. He needs a human who will not " baby " him. yet provide clear boundaries and expectations. He's loyal to his handler and overall a great K-9. Remis is very loving as well. Are you who he needs?
