My story

Charlie’s former owner told us that she is great with kids, cats and dogs. She is crate trained, potty trained and knows her commands. She knows sit, crate, wait, down, shake, heel, drop it and free. She LOVES fetch and can run like the wind. Her family is moving to Italy and didn't want to put Charlie through that long trip. She was clearly loved and well cared for and it shows. She is a very sweet girl.

I met her at the dog park and boy did she have fun. She met about eight different dogs and zero aggression from her. She does run like the wind. She LOVES fetch. She is a high energy girl. She is an AKC Purebred. She was previously spayed.

Charlie is a Beautiful Special needs girls. She has Megaesophagus. She eats in a Bailey Chair. After eating she needs to rest for at least 15 minutes in her chair upright. After a heavy play session instead of drinking tons of water we give her ice cubes to eat. Then she gets her neck hug pillow on and a 15 minute break in the crate to prevent regurgitation. When panting she will cough to clear her throat. She will need to sleep with her neck hug pillow on.

If you think Charlie would be a great addition to your home, email us at doginfo@labrescuers.org.
