My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fluffy whiskers got his name from our young children, that is why it is unconventional. He is a typical cat, sleeps most of the day, playful, he is a good cat. He plays with our kids (ages 6 and 3) and actually "stands guard" if I'm out of town.

I've accepted a new job in South Carolina and with the timing of selling our current home and our pending move and the construction of our new house we will be renting and in transition for a number of months. There is a good possibility we will not be able to have pets in a rental and it wouldn't be fair to him to be in that unstable situation. We have no family that lives near us to help with the situation and have only one cat friendly friend who unfortunately already owns four cats and cannot take on a fifth.

This is a hard decision to make but we think it is best for fluffy whiskers. We are willing to give to any potential adopter his large cat scratching post and decorative litter box cabinet that looks like furniture.
