Elki is a small, one-year old female mix. She has a beautiful sable coat. She was found by a Good Samaritan who kept her for the stray hold. She looks like a wild girl, but nothing is further from the truth.
Elki is sweet to everyone she meets. She sits politely for greeting, but will gently rest her feet on you to let you know she still wants more attention. She has a medium energy level. She settles down nicely in the house and prefers to snuggle with people on the couch instead of lie on a dog bed.
She loves to play fetch, and get out a toy or ball and you will see the speed she has hidden inside! She can play ball for hours. She gets along with other dogs. She probably will not do well with cats.
Elki will do great in a home that gives her the snuggles inside and the exercise outside. She will do fine without another dog in the house if someone is home to keep her company.
