Welcome a very special man Thor.
This for beautiful dog lived his life on a 6' chain around his neck and tied to a run down dog Box in backwoods Tennessee.
Then he was found wandering the highway in one location for multiple days according to animal control.
Thor was dumped by his owners on the side of the highway after living outside on a chain and neglected then he was tossed away like trash. All of these were reported by animal control and neighbors in the area.
We could tell by his stained neck from the chain that had been around him his whole life. He was eaten alive by flies his ears are scarred and notched out by the flies.
He was very high heart worm positive and we did treatments on him and he almost did not survive it..
But we fought beside him and pulled him through.
He is safe now and in full recovery and he has found his voice and found the true German shepherd he is.
He is now ready for adoption.
He is learning his manners and commands and respect in his great Foster home.
THOR is a clean slate he knew nothing coming to us. An he is learning normal household routine an life in foster care.
He loves his foster dog siblings an he is coming around.
He is about 2 or 3 years old we estimate.
He is very lethargic still but he is putting on weight nicely every day.
We are looking for German shepherd experienced adopters to apply.
