Meet Ms. Precious-Grace What a beauty! Very loving, great little companion... She gets along well with other dogs, enjoys walks and rides in car. This Adorable little love-bug is just over a year old, crate trained & house-broken. Purebred young 1.5 yrs old Miniature pincher, very happy, cuddly & playful and gets along with other dogs, She is BFF's with Big Pete, a Newfy pooh, Her ideal adopter would have own there own home with fenced yard, complete level once obedience lessons, a person with either no children or the has children that are respectful of all animals, responsible parents do not leave young children and dogs together unsupervised, adopter must understand it may take a while for any rescued dog to settle into new home, and to smoothly assimilate the key is to be calm and limit "new experiences and New people introductions" for at least the first few weeks till dog gets to know you and feel safe and secure in it's place in the "pack".
We prefer a home with dog experience and financially stable so as to provide a loving and responsible home for both Pete N Grace together. OMG! They are so adorable together... Grace and Pete's ideal adopter will provide regularly scheduled veterinary exams, Professional grooming once every 6-8 weeks, provide high quality nutritious meals, regular daily walks and their overall daily routine consistency is a must, Adopter must be willing to follow suggestions from the rescue for smooth transition into new home. A good veterinary reference and stellar veterinary care history are essential to adopt. The ideal home would be loving, mature minded and fiscally responsible, and the capacity to provide a lifetime of love, nutritious food, soft bed & crate, a secure home, regular veterinary care, professional grooming and other needed professional services and doggie items...
We provide guidance and education to new pet parents, we are also available for advice wether it's one week from adoption or 15 years from adoption. We are here for our pets and their persons!
**To adopt from us we require a completed application, proof of home-ownership and or a copy of your lease. We verify all information, speak with your vet & references, conduct a home visit, and then, if we feel you might be a good match for the dog we will schedule a meet and greet.... All household members must be present at M-G including other dogs - then if all concerned parties are in agreement that you are the best match for the particular pet, the adoption can take place that day.
Each pet is unique, just as each person is unique, therefore we consider multiple applications on each dog so we might choose the home that best meets the individual needs of each pet. Filling out an application doesn't mean you will be automatically approved to adopt. Completion of Adoption Application is one of many tools we use to help us gauge suitability and determine the best match for each family and each pet. Privacy policy and other information is on our application. Please read application before applying.
We do not have a building, We do not have a "staff". Rescue is 100% volunteer and dogs are either in boarding or living in private volunteer foster homes. Because we are volunteers who all work regular jobs our time is very limited. therefore meet and greets between interested parties and our dogs is reserved for those who have submitted an application, had their info verified, and have had their home visit and are deemed by adoptions committee to be a potentially good match for the dog.
