Hi, my name is Deedee and I was found wandering on the streets. I spent a lot of time on my own scavenging and most likely getting yelled at by people so I am still very shy and reserved at first. I was originally adopted by a wonderful mommy who’s living situation changed and my pet sitter was kind enough to take me in for fostering until I can find my new home.

I am a 4-year-old, 15-pound female brindle terrier mix. I am a sweet but shy little girl who needs patience while I warm up to you. Please don’t take offense if it takes a bit of time because when I do I am the best snuggle bug there is! Not only that but I am housetrained, kennel trained and love walks and doggie daycare. My ideal forever home is one where there is at least one female owner as I do much better with women but will warm up to a man as well with the right countenance. I need to have a playful doggie buddy either small or large, because they help me to warm up to my people and feel safe. I am fine with cats but tend to just ignore them. My foster parents do not have any kids, so due to my nervousness young children might be too overwhelming for me so it’s best that my forever home be adult only or one with children over 12-years-old.

Do you have room for me? I promise to love you for my whole life. But I am not disposable. I am looking for someone to cherish me forever too. I never want to end up on the street again afraid with no food or water!!!
