Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***COURTESY LISTING***
Scrappy is an adorable, 5-ish year old, corgi/shiba inu mix. He’s a very sweet fella who lived with children in his previous home.
Scrappy is learning his basic obedience- he knows sit and focus pretty well and catches on quick!
Scrappy loves butt scratches, food and affection from his people.
He was rescued from a high-kill shelter with his best buddy, Apache (also listed). They are a dynamic duo and we’d love to see them get adopted together, BUT are willing to separate them in order to find his best-suited home.
Scrappy walks well on-leash, is neutered, housebroken and fully vaccinated!
He would need to meet his potential family at least 3-4x before being adopted, and would need to meet any other dog that may be in the house at least the same amount of times. He would be best as the only dog, unless he were adopted WITH Apache, but we are willing to try introducing him to any dog already in the home to see if it would work.
Scrappy has oodles of adorable personality and everyone who meets him absolutely falls in love, and we know you will too!
Scrappy learns best with positive reinforcement and redirection. Although this is a courtesy post, we will offer free basic obedience group classes for his entire life- you just have to show up with a can-do attitude!
