Sally has been in rescue for 8 months now, December will mark a year. She’s been adopted out once but unfortunately it didn’t work out as she needs someone who knows how to handle bullies and becomes protective of children especially with other dogs around.
Sally is:
• 3 years old
• Approx. 50lbs
• American Bully
• Crate Trained (working on housetraining)
• Sweet & Playful!
• Good with male dogs, loves older kids but NOT cats!
• Loves to go on short walks, car rides, to cuddle & receive belly rubs!
Sally’s Story:
Sally came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services where the shelter thought she was pregnant and she had limited time til they were going to spay/abort her puppies. We took her the same day to our veterinarian and it turned out she was not pregnant but she has been heavily bred in the past. She is mostly on the calm side but occasionally has her little bursts of energy. Sally needs help getting in and out of the car due to her short legs so we don't recommend a house with stairs as she'll hurt herself.
