My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Terra is a sweet black bi BC/Aussie mix that is ready to be your forever companion. She was found in rural Alabama as a stray so we are unsure of her age but vets approximate her to be around 1 year old.

She is friendly with dogs, and dog savvy cats, but may chase if they run first. Due to her high energy a home with no children or older children would be best at this time.
She is a typical Aussie/BC busy body and needs some training on leash (she often gets excited when she sees dogs and will bark) but Terra is eager to learn, willing to please and very food motivated.

A fenced yard is a must, and she would love a dog friend to play with or an active adopter who will include her in their adventures.

Terra has been doing well with housebreaking, basic obedience, and crate training, although she does not like to be left crated for long periods of time alone. Terra is 45 pounds, spayed and up to date on vaccines, flea/tick/heartworm prevention and is microchipped.

Terra is available for local adoptions in the Birmingham, Al area for and a meet and greet is required.
