Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Banu is a sweet, gentle boy who has the most adorable sprinkle of white freckles splashed across his face. Maybe the dog next to him in the dog factory was getting painted white and he got a little bit of that white paint flicked onto his face! Yes, we know where puppies really come from, but we can imagine, right?
Banu’s former people said he was a friendly pup who did well with kids and other dogs in his former home. He is a fan-favorite here at PACC who loves belly rubs and soaking up the affection if his volunteer friends. Here’s what a few of them have said:
“Banu was very friendly greeting me in his kennel. He was excited to come over to the play yard. He enjoyed running around and playing with his female kennelmate. He came over to me for snuggles and treats, which he took very gently! He`s a laid-back, friendly guy. He`s a contemplative observer and between zoomies and pets he would stand by the fence and watch the world go by. He’s a pleasant, mellow, overall great boy!”
“Banu is a sweet boy who is very attentive. He is easy to leash up and while excited to get out of his kennel, he calms down quickly. He does great chilling in a play yard with his kennelmate and he enjoys cuddles. He gives the best eye contact with those soulful eyes! I love this handsome pup.”
“Banu is really a sweet boy. He settles right down, walks nicely and can be a sniffer dog at times. He likes affection. knows sit and takes treats gently.”
“Banu is one of my favorites- an overlooked black dog in a sea of dogs at the shelter. He is incredibly affectionate with his trusted people, is mellow, calm and loves belly rubs and being close to his people. He’s been staying in the volunteer office recently and is quiet, well- behaved, and just the very best boy.”
Banu has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. He’s hoping to find a furever home with no livestock or small animals.
Please ask to meet Banu today!!
