My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ethel was adopted from the Esther Boyd Shelter in Frederick County, VA in the later part of 2016 (October, I believe). They estimated her age around 1-2 at that time, so she is approximately 5 years old. She was adopted as a second dog into the family. Ethel is a sweet girl who would do best as an only pet (not sure how she does with cats, I never had any or exposed her) as she gets territorial with her food, water, bones, and spaces. She did fight with my other dog, but most of the time they got along fine as long as food/water/bones etc. were kept separate. She should be with a family with no younger children. She does get grumpy at times.

Ethel is house trained and will ask to go out, but if left for long periods of time may have an accident. She has been fixed but isn't up to date on shots. I am hoping to get that taken care of soon.
