Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maggie is a relaxed couch potato. She can be timid and shy at first, but she yearns for love, companionship, and snuggles! She gets along well with multiple dogs of different sizes, absolutely adores kids, but is unknown with cats.
Housebroken: Yes, Maggie has had zero accidents since being in her foster home!
Crate trained: Yes, and considers her crate her safe space (aside from the couch)
Commands known: Maggie is learning to sit and jump on command, she is a fast learner who is eager to please!
Likes/dislikes: Maggie loves to run outside and sunbathe, is warming up to toys, her favorite pastime is snuggling on the couch with lots of pets and attention. She will nudge your hand with her nose if you stop petting her. She doesn’t particularly care for baths, but will sit still and mind and is therefore easy to bathe. She also doesn’t like stairs, but she is slowly warming up to them. She does well on car rides by laying down and has done really well when getting her nails trimmed.
Any behavioral issues: Maggie tends to jump on you when excited (behavior almost completely redirected to jumping only on command). Maggie does not have any toy or food aggression, and is very patient and smart. She does well in storms and does not have separation anxiety. In her past few years of life she must not have been regularly fed, as she tends to bury her food in her blankets and ration it out, but seems to be getting better as she is learning that she is now being regularly fed daily.
She is a really sweet mama just waiting for her perfect family! And who can resist those loving amber eyes and adorable under bite?
