Our perfect, precious Pearl is looking for her lifetime home. Pearl is a lovely and lively Chihuahua blend and is now 10 months old. She is an old soul who is very quiet and very gentle. She bonds deeply. At 8 pounds, our little girl will remain small.
Pearl is looking for a very specific family. Please read carefully before responding:
Pearl is a Type 1 diabetic and requires insulin injections 2x daily with her meals. She is very easy and so good about accepting this. As such, applicants must have proven direct experience with insulin and diabetic dogs. No exceptions. We will be verifying the information with each applicant’s vet clinic.
A detached home with a large, fully fenced yard is required.
We are looking for applicants who work from home part time or full time on a permanent basis.
Another young canine companion (small or medium size) in the home is required; someone calm, quiet and who will be kind to our gentle Pearl.
Guardians who are active and young enough to provide for Pearl for her lifetime; diabetic dogs can live a full life (15+ years) and Pearl is less than a year old. She loves playing with toys and balls and running around having fun.
No young children. Families with children 12+ will be considered.
Preference will be given for rural settings; Pearl is not a city dog.
WA State and Oregon State residents only.
