Liberty 2 came to the Refuge from the Edgecombe County Animal Shelter. She had been brought there by a concerned neighbor with her 3 kittens, Firecracker Justice & Rebel. She is a little shy but we feel confident she will come out of her shell when she finishes nursing her babies and realizes she is in a safe and loving environment. It would be awesome if she could be adopted with another kitty near her age so they will always have a feline companion and playmate. Come visit this sweet shy little kitty and see if she is the one just waiting to go home with you.
Approx. DOB 07/01/2017
Interested in adopting a Goathouse cat or kitten? Then please start by completing the following steps required in our screening process: 1) Complete our online adoption application: Visit www.goathouserefuge.org/adoption-application/ to get started! 2) Arrange to visit the cat(s) in person: Please check our website for current visiting hours at our Pittsboro refuge. If your application indicates an interest in a cat currently in foster or at Cat Tales Cat Cafe, we will inform you on steps to take to arrange a cafe or foster visit. 3) Complete a home visit: Once you confirm that you've visited in person with the cat(s) of interest and completed the online application, your responses will be reviewed by the refuge staff so that a volunteer member of our home visit team can contact you to schedule a visit. Only after a representative of the refuge has visited the applicant's home will the refuge consider continuing with the adoption process.
