Meet Rusty! This yummy 16 week old hound mix is 26 pounds so will be a medium to large boy. He wasn’t slowed down one bit by his big adventure getting to us via plane from a rural kill shelter and by Saturday evening his foster reported he had chewed every bone, played with every toy, and explored every room in their house! Rusty is enjoying everything about being in a foster home. The smaller dog is teaching him he can’t play so roughly with the little ones, the big dog likes that he doesn’t get in her face when he plays, and the little girls are getting a kick out of him chasing.....but not bringing back all the toys they throw!

As with all puppies adopted through Maxx & Me, his adopter will need to commit to taking him to positive reinforcement puppy classes with a trainer of their choice.
