PLEASE READ entirely I know its long but it's important.
Lorenzo is a 2 yr old male pure bred Cane Corso. He was seized in cruelty case from a puppy mill. Before rescue he lived his life outside on a shock collar by himself except for when it came time to breed.
Let me just be brutally honest. Hes come so far but still isnt the dog for "I always wanted a Cane Corso" or "omg I just love him so much hes so beautiful ".
Now let's get to the great things. Hes 100 percent housebroken and crate trained. He knows sit, shake and walks well on a leash. He is good with other dogs but still feels the need to hump like your typical man when he gets excited lol. However he will take corrections and back down.
He will absolutely always need proper introductions to new people. On a leash outside works best and chicken helps lol. I had him listed as no small kids but after testing him with very calm, well behaved kids I found he is drawn to children. If you have bebe kids please be honest with yourself and dont waste our time lol. Fast movements and loud noises still scare him.
Lorenzo had multiple eye surgeries for scrolled t cartilage and cherry eye costing us well over 3000 dollars. He has also been treated for heartworm and spent 7 months in rescue. So at the risk of sounding rude I'm just gonna tell you like it is. I love this dog. This isnt first come first serve. I am absolutely requiring mastiff or extra large breed experience. Expierence with ex large rescues earns you brownie points. This dog is a 100 pounds and full of energy. He needs a fenced yard to run. Homeowners only need to apply. He loves his crate and will have to be crated when unattended. If your not willing to do this dont waste my time he will destroy your house and you will return him.
I know this isnt your typical feel good ad. I want the absolute best for this boy. I want you to know and fully understand what you are getting into. This dog has done a 360 in 7 months. Bouncing him around from home to home will undo everything we have done. I want and need to get this right the first time for him. One more thing he takes to women faster then men but you would need to be a pretty strong cornfed lady to handle him lol.
Adoption 250 00 if you think 250 is to much for a fully vetted young Cane Corso then obviously you dont have the experience I'm looking for. Located in Picayune Ms. Must have a approved app to meet him and no we will not transport. However if your willing to come here to meet long distance adoptions will be considered for the right person.
