We'd like to introduce you to the delightful Blake, a charming 3-year-old, 46 lb male dog in search of his forever home. This handsome fellow is ready to bring joy, love, and lots of tail wags into your life.
Blake will happily snuggle up on the couch with you after a day of romping around outside. He has done well with other dogs when given slow introductions over the course of a few days. He really loves to play and will listen to another dog's signals if he is being too much fun for them. Blake will thrive in with a routine and a forever home who gives him time to show them how great of a dog he is. Blake thrives on enriching toys that he can chew on and long walks outside. He would love a home that will patiently work to show him the rules of his new home and give him time to adjust to a new routine.
I am currently available for adoption, but I'm also in need of a temporary foster home while I wait for my future family. Fostering means providing me with a safe and caring space where I can learn, grow, and share my unique personality while waiting for adoption. The amazing folks at OK Humane will provide all the necessary support, from food and supplies to medical care, while you offer the love, attention, and insights that will help me find the perfect forever family. We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.
Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.
Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.
Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
