Meet Jesse! Jesse is a sweet and loving guy who is always ready for snuggles and a tasty treat! This high energy dude loves going on walks and enjoys various forms of enrichment, but also knows how to settle down for a nap. He has done great with kids and loves hanging out with them. He's very curious about feline friends and would thrive with patient ones that won't get too overwhelmed by his happy energy. Although he's pretty submissive when first meeting dogs, he quickly gets over that and wants to be everyone's friend! He does great with all sizes of dogs but they definitely should be a little more on the patient side since he's so high energy. Slow and proper introductions are always recommended. Jesse is still recovering from heartworm treatment and will need some limited activity for the next few weeks, but he enjoys short walks and will never say no to a good treat or bone. He is very curious about chewable items when left unattended, but is luckily kennel trained with the help of his favorite snacks. Although he lived most of his life on the streets, he'd really rather prefer to be inside hanging out with his favorite people. He would love to liven up your home if you give him the chance!

We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.
Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.
Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.
Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
