My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Baby ended up at our rescue because she didn't do well with with babies - go figure! Her intake paperwork stated that she didn't get along with other dogs, but here at our rescue not only has she gotten along just fine with other dogs, she's been playing with some of them!

This little girl is crate trained and appears to be potty trained. She can be aloof, so her new owner would need to understand how to incorporate a dog into their home and establish the humans as the leaders. Our trainers are available to help with the transition.

Baby does best when she has a job to do, before her pets. She likes to work and have a purpose. Of course, like all good dogs she also likes to laze around in front of the TV.

Baby's new family should be made up of older respectful children, with no chance of smaller children in the future. She will also need an owner that understands how to offer a balanced life to a dog - so she can have a FUR ever home.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is broken down into 4 steps.

Step 1 begins with filling out an application.

Step 2 is a meet and greet with your family members/roommates and existing dogs. (Puppies under 4 months of age will not meet existing dogs)

Step 3 is a home visit. Where we verify the following:
~Where will the dog sleep
~Where will the dog be kept when no one is home
~Where will the dog play

Step 4 is the final step and is when you sign the contract and pay the adoption fee.

Go meet their pets

Our pets stay in homes with their foster families and are located mainly in San Diego County, CA. An application is required to visit our pets.
