My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Patches is one of four pups born to Zora (photo attached) on June 15, 2020. Mom (Zora) looks like a pit/hound mix (see picture), and her pups look like the dad might be a Border Collie or Australian Cattle Dog, but we don't really know.

All pups are happy and healthy and started their shots on August 3rd.  Their adoption fee is $200, which includes their immunizations as well as their spay/neuter and micro-chipping at four months old (if the local Alturas, CA, vet is used).  Out of town adopters will need to pay a $300 adoption fee, but $160 of that will be refunded upon proof of spay/neuter at four months old.

The pups are available for viewing and to go home on a foster-to-adopt contract on August 15th.  Please contact Jenn at HPHS@Ymail.com to make an appointment.  Include your contact information, including phone number and home address, and a description of your home environment (location, yard size, fence height, people and pets in household, etc.), along with a description of what an average day would look like for your pup.

Please note we do not adopt puppies to families where the eldest children are under 7 years old due to the training and attention needs of the pups. Thank you for understanding and respecting this requirement.
