My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aperol and her sister Spritz were rescued in Red Hook, Brooklyn at 10 weeks old. They were a bit apprehensive of indoor life at first but now can't wait to cuddle and play with you all day long! Aperol came out of her shell within days at her foster home, and Spritz purrs almost non-stop and will run to meet you whenever you walk into the room.

Aperol is curious and full of energy and loves to play with a string toy or laser pointer and is a great sous chef when her foster Dad is cooking in the kitchen. Her new favorite spot to lounge is a big soup pot! Due to Covid she hasn’t been around a lot of humans, but with a few treats and persistence, she will easily become your new best friend.

Spritz enjoys climbing all over her humans and chirping at them so they know to give her love, and she's become a big fan of headbutts and face kisses recently. The only thing she enjoys more than a good love session is playing with her favorite spring or mouse toy, which she will do until she plops over from exhaustion. She'll sleep when you do at night, but the moment your eyes open, she'll leap onto the bed, rub her face on yours, and let you know that it's Spritz-y breakfast time.

While they have been apart for a month or so in the past, it would be great if they could be adopted together. Otherwise they must go to a home with another playful kitten. Applications for them as single cats will not be processed.
