My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brando - Labrador Retriever - Male - 9 years - www.twyla.org

If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

Brando is a 9 year old Yellow Labrador with a playful personality. He gets along well with his foster family’s dogs - both big and small and the three older children in the home. He walks well on a leash at a leisurely pace and is fully crate/house trained. Personality wise he is eager to please, loves to play fetch and is a good finder of things to chew on, so he will do best in a home where he has suitable toys to play with and socks are kept out of reach. Brando seems to have some vision issues and can't see too well, he will chase balls if he sees them but can bump into things (and people) on the way. He is quite food motivated and wants to swallow half your hand when given a treat, just to make sure he gets the treat and he's mostly gentle about it.

Brando is looking for a low to moderate energy level home, with or without another dog, with or without older kids - as he would bowl younger kids over. He likes going on leisurely walk in the neighborhood and doesn't meet too many strangers.

***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
