My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mimi is a beautiful tortoise-shell kitty with a becoming peach-colored patch at her neck. She is only 9-10 mos. old but had a litter already, and has since been spayed. Although you can't tell from the photos, she is very little. Mimi just wants to be with you, purrs, loves to be petted, and looks up at you with huge round eyes. She overcame her shyness in her foster home in less than a day; once she knew she was safe she came out for any chance to be close to a human. She would do fine in a single-cat home, as long as there is plenty of love from her humans. Or, because she is shy, a home with another kitten or cat who has proven to be friendly with other felines.


Mimi is FIV+ but a very healthy little girl. Most people--and many vets, unfortunately-- don't know the truth about FIV+ cats, which is that if they are kept inside and cared for they can live as long and be just as healthy as any other cats.
