Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Betty is 25lbs or cute in a 3lb bag! She is about a year old, she has all her big girl teeth so she is at least that. She is a maltipoo but looks like somewhere in her back round must be a few other things. We believe her breed is Muppet! She is very snuggly once she settles in which doesn’t take long. She is an attention hog so I know she would be very happy to be an only dog and get all the attention, but she does get along just fine with other dogs.
You will also notice that all the photos of her are on the bed, that’s because she has made it her spot. She gets off for meals which she supervise the preparation and to follow her foster daddy around for treats. She is very food motivated. Right now she eats in a crate and she goes in on her own. We had her on a special diet for awhile because she scratches a lot. Not enough to cause wound, etc. she doesn’t have any rashes or hot spots. The diet didn’t make any difference so its probably not a food allergy. She seems to get a lot of relief from baths for allergy or sensitive skin. She does not love those baths though! Her foster daddy said its not easy to give a bath to a soapy squirming 3lb dog with out feeling like you are going to squish her! Her house breaking is a work in progress but she does use potty pads.
Because she is so small and delicate, (although she doesn’t think she is delicate!) we will not place her in a home with small children. She has only been around other small dogs, so don’t really know how she would be with big dogs, probably boss them around. She has not been cat tested so don’t know how she would be with cats.
I really can not express how adorable she is and what a character she is. She makes me laugh all day. Has rabies and dhlpp shots, tested neg for heartworms, neutered and he is microchipped. Adoption Fee $200 Located in St. Louis MO
