My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marmalade is a 7 year old, 60 lb, Boxer/Pittie mix. She's dog friendly and house/crate trained. Marmalade came to us with a litter of puppies after they'd been dumped in a small south Dallas shelter without much exposure. Her puppies have all found homes and now it's mamas time. She has completed heartworm treatment now and feels better than ever. Marmalade is looking for a quiet home without young kids or heavy activity. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00 + tax and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time toMay 1, 2024, 7:05 pm

More about this rescue

Our goal is to save dogs at the local shelters in the Dallas \ Fort Worth Metroplex from euthanasia and adopt them to the public. We spay / neuter these dogs as well as provide all necessary medical care. We also educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We love dogs and our goal is to reduce / eliminate euthanisias being done in this area by shelters due to overcrowding.
