Pete is in need of a home! He has been in his foster home for 2 years now. Lots of visitors and families were interested, but in the end, no one wanted him. Pete is a young, shy kitty. Though he may take several weeks to warm up to his new home and surroundings, he will become a great indoor cat in the right home! Pete enjoys playing with other cats, laser pointers, and small fuzzy toys and loves cozy places to hide. Pete is currently in a foster home and is in need of a forever home! There are no known medical issues with Pete. He loves to eat, regularly uses his litter box, is neutered, and is fully vaccinated.
Pete was not very well socialized with other humans in his home prior to being placed in foster care. He kept to himself in a small room and often would peek downstairs for a few minutes before rushing back up to hide. While in foster care, Pete has shown GREAT improvement. He now likes to play with the other foster cats and allows a belly rub or two throughout the day. Pete loves to be petted but will need time to get used to any new human he meets. Petey is a bonded pair to his foster sister Chloe or Summer. He does well with both girls and does need to be homed in a quiet home.
Pete spends his days sleeping in cardboard boxes his foster mommy leaves around for the cats to play in. He enjoys chasing fuzzy toys or curling up next to the other foster cats. Pete needs an experienced owner that knows how to work with his timidness and has the time to show him that he is in a safe, loving home.
The adoption fee for Pete is $100. This fee covers his annual exam, vaccinations, FELV/FIV tests, deworming, and neuter surgery.
