Hello, my name is Mama Didi. I am a long timer with Dallas Dog RRR. I am a lab mix, about 40 pounds and approximately 4 years old. I was rescued in South Dallas from a drain pipe, along with my babies. Mama Didi did an awesome job keeping her little family together and safe. Her puppies have long since been adopted and Mama Didi has been with a special foster ever since, waiting for the perfect forever.
Mama Didi will need a patient, special adopter. It is clear she has suffered some sort of trauma in her past. She is very sweet and dog friendly but needs an adopter who will understand that Mama Didi is happiest within her own comfort zone. She loves people but is not the type of girl to jump up on the couch and snuggle. Being put on a leash is a stressor for her but Didi will happily chill in the backyard. Bringing Mama Didi into your family will take some work and most likely several meets beforehand, but once she becomes comfortable you will be awarded with the love and presence of a very happy girl.
All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. The standard minimum donation for puppies is $325 + 8.25% tax = $351.81, for dogs over 12 months the adoption fee is $225 + 8.25% tax = $243.66 and for our senior dogs 8 years and up is $100 + 8.25% tax = $108.25; this increase includes sales tax recently required by the State of Texas to collect. You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallasdogrrr.org.
For more information, you can email adopt@dallasdogrrr.org. Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
