Their adoption process
We do require an application to be completed. This can be completed at www.BarktownRescue.org. Once this is approved, we can set the applicant up with the foster to meet the dog. If the person decides to adopt at that point, we do have a contract that needs to be signed.
** Please note, it may take 2-3 business days for your application to be processed. Please let us know if you do not hear from us after that time period.

We are a 100% volunteer based rescue; where we rescue because it is our passion, our mission to saves lives. This is not a job for us, but a need to help the helpless.
