My story

Hi my name is Misty! I’m a cute fluffy dilute Tortie, foster mama thinks I might have some mainecoon mix in me

I was rescued from animal services where I was turned in with a broken leg. After that it was discovered I had feline parvovirus, which I beat! This is really rare as it has a 90% mortality rate. After I got over that I had an FHO (femoral head ostectomy) to fix my broken leg. Now I’m all healed up and healthy and ready for my forever family.

I am very sweet and loving but I would do best in a quieter household without young children. I need someone who will give me time to adjust and follow my lead. I like to be pet, have my chin scratched, my booty scratched, and my belly rubbed. I’ll start purring like crazy and rubbing all over you! I just have to be able to trust you and know you won’t hurt me. I would do best in a home with another kitty that I can be friends with.
