My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coral was one in litter of 5. Mom was a small wire haired terrier looking Gal and Dad is believed to have some min pin or chi. Whatever they are, they were all just beyond darling with adorable personalities. Her cute little underbite goes famously with her cute little sass.  Microchipped, spayed and up to date on vaccines, Coral is spunky, playful, and affectionate.  She has done so well in foster care and is an absolute gem, but she is going to need a patient person(s) to help her transition.  Coral can be a "runner" when she is scared an unfamiliar.  It took about 2 weeks in her foster home for her to understand she was safe but until then she bolted out of her crate and would bolt out of a door if given the opportunity.  So she needs someone who will understand her, help her feel comfortable and be very cautious until she settles in to her new home.  She definitely needs a fenced yard to run, she has the longest legs and loves to do her zoomies to get her energy out.  Because she can be jumpy when she gets excited, we recommend no small children.  We would require more than one meet and greet so that Coral gets a feel for her new people prior to adoption and are looking for a local adopter so that we can help Coral transition.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with the application. All required fields must be completed in order for your application to be considered. It's important that we place the right dog with the right family. Adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment...please ensure you have considered this commitment before submitting an application. Once all reference checks are completed, you will be notified if your application has been approved. Upon approval of your application, a "meet and greet" is scheduled. All of our rescues are fostered in loving, caring homes until we find the right permanent home for them. Our foster volunteers will contact you to make arrangements to meet your potential new family member. A home visit is required before we will place any of our rescues in a forever home. Upon completion of a successful home visit, an adoption contract is completed. Adoption fees typically range from $175 to $375..

More about this rescue

We are a rescue organization fueled by our love of animals and the wonderful volunteers who support us and give freely of their time and dedication to the rescue efforts.

3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Rescue was founded with love and passion and is dedicated not only to the lives of those we save, but to the so many lives that are lost. We are a non profit organization comprised of volunteers who give selflessly and open their hearts and their homes, as a stepping stone to the permanent home every rescue animal dreams of. We are not a shelter, each of our rescues are cared for in the warmth of their foster homes, as we help them on their journey waiting for the place they can call their own.

We are primarily a canine rescue, pulling dogs from high kill shelters across the U.S. Our goal is to save as many lives as we possibly can and to bring an awareness to those around us of the pain and suffering that occcurs in puppy mills and the fate that awaits those thrown away to a shelter. PLEASE...Adopt...don't Shop!
