Jynxy is a beautiful ragdoll-colored cat, but we are looking for a very specific adopter for him.

Jynxy was adopted out as an older kitten, but we knew then that he was quite high-strung. He did okay for 2 years and then the resident cat started picking on him. So Jynxy is back with us looking for the perfect forever home.

Jynxy needs a home where he can be the ONLY pet. NO CHILDREN. What we want most for Jynxy is an adopter who has experience with shy/difficult cats and owns a quiet house (no renters/apartments; Jynxy needs a place he will never have to move from). He needs a home where he can feel comfortable and calm. Jynxy is currently spending all his time in his igloo (pictured), which will go with him. He is not fond of being pet right now and will sometimes hiss.

His adopter needs to understand that it will takes weeks, possibly months, for him to feel comfortable.

We will consider letting him live with another cat if the other cat is proven submissive/non-dominating.

Jynxy is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Jynxy does have 2 known health issues. He has a grade 3-4 heart murmur. He also has poor dental health and should have a dental cleaning soon. Approximate date of birth is May 17, 2020.
