MEET SCRAPPY! - AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

Arrghh Matey! It's me, Scrappy! I've recently become a one eyed pirate and am looking for a family to give me a loving home for my golden years!

Scrappy joined our rescue end of August 2020 and is at least 10 years old & 20 lbs. He has multiple health issues but is a tough cookie! He was surrendered to a rural Texas shelter and flown to Idaho via Dog is my Copilot. He arrived with poor eyes that were clearly infected and one was bulging and very painful, he also has a heart murmur and skin issues with thin fur. We believe him to be an affenpinscher mix.

Scrappy was neutered and had an single enucleation (eye removal) surgery Sep 21, 2020, his heart did well under anesthesia!

Scrappy is looking for a calm home to retire in, full of love and ideally with a yard to explore! Scrappy does well with other dogs, has not been tested with cats. He would do best in a home without children as he is adjusting to life with one eye and could be startled by children's loud noises and quick movements.
