My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Journey! She is an approx 3 year old, 78 pound German Shepherd. GSD breed experience will be required to adopt her. She is appropriately named after volunteers tracked this beautiful female black Shepard for over six weeks after a witness saw her tossed from a truck. Injured and terrified she ran and hid and ran and hid day after day. We make note of this because this gal will need a patient owner to reduce the flight instinct that kept her alive while she was on the run. She is housebroken and crate trained but is super agile so a six foot fenced property is required for adoption. She is affectionate and bonds tightly once she trusts you as happens with her breed. She wants a family that is home a lot to spend time with her. She is good with other dogs and takes comfort from them so will require a confident dog buddy in her forever home. She plays pretty hard so no small dogs or cats to avoid accidental injury. She is good with kids who approach appropriately...scares her when they are rushing at her so looking for a home without young kids. She would be an incredible lure coursing pup or agility dog because she is so smart and driven to please.

Journey is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption donation is only $250.
