Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sparky is a female purebred Dalmatian. It is hard to tell how old she is, we guess that she is between 3-4 years old. She weighs about 50lbs (or at least she will once she gets healthy.) Sparky is a precious girl. She is fun and loving. Chewing on a squeaky toy is her kind of fun. She is already housetrained and will stay quiet in her crate at night and while I’m away. Though curious of the cats and wants them to play, she would do fine in a household with cats.
Sparky has had a rough life. She was rescued from animal control. She has never had any positive experience with other dogs. Her ears were bloody when I got her from being attacked. She tends to be very protective and nervous, even growling at other dogs. However, within one night, she was sleeping cuddling with my other three Dalmatians. She will do just fine, she just needs someone that will continue to work with her and give her positive social interaction.
Family Requirements: Sparky can only go to a home where she can live indoors (an outside home will not be considered.) She wants to be a big part of family activities. Crate training is encouraged but not required.
