Say hello to my little friend! Five years ago, Henry was found caught in a downpour in Houston. Scared, skinny, and full of fleas, he was happy to be rescued. He was welcomed into a foster with many other dogs, where he was brought back to health. He was heartworm negative (yay!) and not neutered (boo!) and received all necessary medical and much love!

Fast forward to 2025 and he finds himself homeless again. Surrendered back to rescue five years later, for being anxious in their home, Henry is confused. He is a lovebug who is enjoys a home with other dogs. He was previously an only dog so it's possible that his foster friends give him the confidence he needs. Now he just needs his forever!

Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
