My story

Howdy, my name is Corey! I came to Big Dog Ranch Rescue on their Freedom ride from Georgia with my best gal pal Adriana. We are still pretty bonded. That was back in 2020. We have both been here at the Ranch since then and I am now double digits in age. My dream home would be an adult-only family and with NO OTHER ANIMALS where I can be a king and I would get ALL of the love and attention. I would benefit greatly from an EXPERIENCED dog owner who can be aware of my little quirks and help me to be the happiest man I can be. I am potty-trained. I am pretty laid back most of the time and I am getting up there in age . I would fit into almost any home environment as long as there is plenty of attention, walks, toys and cuddles involved. Whether it's a game of fetch, a long walk or cuddling on the couch - I just want to spend time with you. Since me and Adriana are pretty big and strong, it's best we not share a home with a small child. We can both be stingy with toys and kids toys look so much like ours. We have lived here at Big Dog a long time and did benefit having a Foster home for awhile. If you can't adopt, consider Fostering us. It's very helpful to the Rescue and helps us transition to a home life again. I can't be crated and doorways scare me. Please be patient with me, I've just had some things in my past that are hard to forget. My favorite past time is sunbathing on a nice day, and exploring outside in the play area, so I would really love a yard of my own. I can't wait to complete your happy family! Adrianna hopes to join me when I go home so take a look at her too please.
