My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marshall is one of the 'Manx Five.' He is the only fella (& although completely unaware of it, the most striking in looks.) Marshall has luxurious fur that is very dark with swirls of gold running through it like small crescent moons. His underbelly resembles the markings of a clouded leopard. He's soooo handsome. He has pointy ears, a white bib, white on his front knuckles & white socks on his back feet. Like all of the MANX FIVE, Marshall loves to play, play, play. Again, like all of the MANX FIVE, Marshall is a happy, active kitten. Born around Aug 11 (2009), Marshall will be ready for vetting in mid November. We will consider placing him before then pending the approval of an adoption application & a contract that commits to the timely neutering & microchipping.

These kittens are hardcore hedonists & need a playmate to be happy. The optimal situation would be to have them adopted in pairs, or to have another young cat in the house. They wrestle for literally hours on end. They also love to chase one another. Basically, they have A.D.D. so they jump from one activity to the next with glee. Then they take long naps so they can do it all over again.

Marshall is very loving but also bold about getting his share of the daily rations of prime canned wet food. He doesn't intend to ever miss a meal. Play can wait on that score.

Marshall may not be declawed. The amount of the adoption fee is influenced by whether the vetting is done through our vets, or one's own vet. Microchipping saves cats lives so Marshall will also need to be microchipped at the time of his neuter. All five of the kittens get along with one another. Two of the girls (Mallory & McKenzie) have already been adopted to one family. Marenda is a Manx with a tail & Mopsy is the other sister, with a stub. Like Marshall, they are both still available.

For the kittens, we are using the adoption application from 'Silver Bells Rescue' so please email if you would like a copy emailed to you.
