My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mopsy

is actually a cross between a domestic shorthair & a Manx. Manx kittens are a breed that typically are born with a bobbed or shortened tail. Two Manx can not produce live kittens so one parent is always another breed. MoMo has a very small stub of a tail (stumpie), is predominantly brownish gray but she does have this really unique underlayer of orange tabby (as if she were painted one way & the artist decided to change up the colors but some still bled through.) Mopsy has white mittens on four paws, a white bib & a splash of the striking orange tabby on her back left lower leg & upper shoulder. As she grows, the orange underlayer shows through more. She's a loving, curious girl, sometimes a little bit shy. She could learn to be OK with dogs but they do make her a bit nervous.

Mopsy loves to play, play, play & is a happy, healthy, active kitten. Born around Aug 11 (2009), Mo has been spayed & microchipped.

The Manx litter was a group of five hardcore hedonists & would enjoy a playmate to be happy. Mopsy is the last kitten to need a home so the optimal situation would be to have another young cat in the house. They wrestled for literally hours on end. They also loved to chase one another. Mopsy jumps from one activity to the next with glee. The bird toy? Oh goodie. The mouse toy? Oh goodie. The paper bag or crumpled up piece of paper on the floor? Oh goodie. She plays hard & then take long naps so she can do it all over again.

Mopsy may not be declawed so any adopter will need to have some good scratching posts or similar products for her to keep her nails in good shape. She is good however about having her paws handled & we do clip her nails.

Microchipping saves cats lives so Mo has been microchipped.

For the kittens, we are using the adoption application from 'Silver Bells Rescue' so please email if you would like a copy sent to you.
